Singleton Community Aged Care Facility

190 Foreshore Drive, Singleton, Western Australia 6175

The facility has been designed by Croft Developments Pty Ltd and construction is currently underway. This new facility comprises a total of 144 beds arranged over a two storey construction with large, single rooms, as well as interconnected rooms suitable for couples.

The facility comprises spacious lounge rooms and servery kitchens so residents can choose their own meals, as well as a focus on activity programs and areas promoting independence. The care levels offered will range from Respite Care through to Low Care, and Ageing in place to High Care, plus a separate secure dementia unit.

Key features are:

  • Total building area is 9438 m2
  • 24 Hour nursing care in secure environment
  • 140 Fortinet WIFI Points throughout the building
  • Design has been based on 4 x houses of 36 residents totalling 144 places. Each wing has its own Nurses Station, Servery and Dining area. There is a fully fitted production  kitchen, providing food to large servery kitchens.
  • Commercial Laundry comprising 3 x IPSO washing Machines and 3 x Gas dryers.
  • Variety of room sizes, including twin or adjoining rooms for couples
  • Air Conditioning to all bedrooms and Lounge Rooms / Hallways.
  • Café off the main entrance
  • Fixtures, fittings, floor coverings and furnishings of the highest industry standard.
  • On-site kitchen & commercial laundry
  • Full CCTV security system and fully networked computer system.
  • All bedrooms having Ensuite Bathroom and king single height adjustable electric hi-low beds.
  • Spacious courtyards with non-slip concrete finish with shade sails / Gazebos and umbrellas.
  • Hair-dressing room and Doctor’s room.

There are two different room specifications:

  1. Classic is about 18m2 plus ensuite, standard king electric bed, pressure mattress, 50” smart TV, standard wardrobe, vinyl floor, resident chair / outdoor chair. Timber hall stand under the TV
  2. Signature Rooms are 20m2 MINIMIUM plus ensuite, many rooms up to 26m2 all with balconies. Flooring is carpet, wardrobes are fully fitted laminate, smart TV of 60-65inch, additional bedroom furniture, timber hall stand under the TV, resident chair / outdoor chair. Standard king electric bed, pressure mattress.

The facility has been designed by Croft Developments Pty Ltd and construction is currently underway and due for completion in April 2022. This new facility will comprise a total of 180 beds arranged over single level construction with large, single rooms, as well as large rooms suitable for couples.

The facility will comprise spacious lounge rooms and servery kitchens so residents can choose their own meals, as well as a focus on activity programs and areas promoting independence. The care levels offered will range from Respite Care through to Low Care, and Ageing in place to High Care, plus a separate secure dementia unit.

The facility has been designed and will be constructed by Croft Developments Pty Ltd. The facility is well advanced in the construction phase and is due for completion in August 2022.

This new facility will comprise a total of 190 beds arranged over a two storey construction with large, single rooms, as well as interconnected rooms suitable for couples. The home will comprise spacious lounge rooms and servery kitchens so residents can choose their own meals, as well as a focus on activity programs and areas promoting independence.

The care levels offered will range from Respite Care through to Low Care, and Ageing in place to High Care, plus a separate secure dementia unit.

  • 17,526 m2 site
  • Construction is of concrete floors, Concrete Block and Timber Frame, together with tie downs and metal roof.  The building is fully fitted with sprinklers , smoke detection, Advance Call nurse system. Fully addressable Fire Warning system, and Nurse Call on both Dect and ceiling mounted annunciators.
  • A Commercial Laundry comprises high speed 3 x IPSO washing Machines and 3 x Gas dryers.

The design was carried out by Croft Developments Pty Ltd and construction is currently underway due for completion in September 2022.  There is currently a design review to expand the facility to 180 places (from 144), with a 100 house lot subdivision, subject to Development Application Approval.

The facility will comprise spacious lounge rooms and servery kitchens so residents can choose their own meals, as well as a focus on activity programs and areas promoting independence. The care levels offered will range from Respite Care through to Low Care, and Ageing in place to High Care, plus a separate secure dementia unit.
