Clayton Community Aged Care

Clayton Community Aged Care Facility was completed in September 2009 and comprises 151 spacious single rooms, all with en suites, over three levels.   This “state of the art” facility has 106 high care places, including 60 Extra Service places and 45 low care places, which includes the amalgamation of the former Clarinda Centre operated by the City Monash.

The facility is located within walking distance to the Monash Medical Centre. We are located next door to the Clayton Community Centre and within 200m of the Clayton shops, supermarket, swimming pool, library, doctors surgeries, pathology centres etc.  Public Transport is available, with the bus network along Centre Road, or trains, via the Clayton station.

The facility comprises spacious lounge rooms and servery kitchens so residents can choose their own meals, as well as a focus on activity programs and areas promoting independence. The care levels offered range from Respite Care through to Low Care, and Ageing in place to High Care, plus a separate secure dementia unit.

The facility opened in August 2018. Situated in Bacchus Marsh the facility offers 144 rooms for high care, low care and residents with dementia, including interconnecting bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms.

The kitchen offers a choice of meals and beverages with an onsite chef/cook. Other features of the home include modern comfortable interior design, internet, Foxtel, library, massage therapy facilities, hairdressing salon, outdoor gazebo and children’s play area. The facility is located within close proximity to the local shops, churches and parks.
